a bit of me

My name is Kailey Riggen (Daniells). I’m an art director working in Los Angeles, living in Portland, Oregon. In a previous life I worked as a Sandwich Artist, and it was there that I mastered my love of craft and the perfect pepperoncini placement. Despite my turkey sandwich making days, I’m now famously vegan and always on the hunt for the next best spot. I’m also a major lover of animals, and not afraid to show off my “talking to a dog” voice.

My closet is almost exclusively all black, but in true art director style, I absolutely love color. I love building stories around color, and infusing how color can make you feel, into everything I do. I enjoy late nights at the office (edit: now on Zoom), crazy deadlines, laughing with my coworkers, and making amazing work. Seriously, I really do.

I believe that there is never a point where you stop learning. Everyday is a new challenge, with a new lesson, and that's what keeps you on your toes.
